Meteosat / Inmarsat mast preamplifier MVV-METEO / VV-METEO compensates cable losses between antenna and converter and increases the sensitivity of your receiver.
In order to achieve a sufficient gain, the preamplifier is implented in two modules. The input module is equipped with a low noise microwave FET. Between the first and the second module, which were realized with a microwave IC (MMIC), is a three-circuit stripline filter. The housing of MVV-METEO is clam-shelled implented, the shielded tinplate housing is put in a weatherproof ABS-plastic housing, which can be fixed by a clamp on masts up to 56 mm in diameter. All screws as well as the handle of the mast clamp consist of stainless VA steel. The operating voltage can be supplied over separate cable or via coaxial cable. For indoor employment we recommend the inexpensive version VV-METEO. Circuit and technical data correspond accurately to MVV-METEO. VV-METEO is put in a shielded tinplate housing and not been suitable for exterior use. |
