CAS is a high-quality coaxial antenna switch, which is put in a wheatherproof mast housing from UV-steady plastic. Installed in antenna proximity, with CAS it is possible to switch two different antennas onto a common derivative. Switching takes place from the station over a 12V-control line. Installed in front of a mast preamplifier, CAS makes it possible to operate a preamplifier at two different antennas (e.g. a Yagi-antenna and a vertical emitter) |
